Instruments

An instrument page (/instruments/:id) is the deep-dive view for any equity, ETF, or index. It consolidates price data, fundamentals, news, entity relationships, and regulatory filings into a single five-tab layout.

Finding an instrument

Search for any instrument using:

• ⌘K from anywhere in the app — type ticker or company name
• The global search field in the TopBar
• The Screener — click any row to navigate to that instrument's page

Instrument tabs

Overview (chart)

The default tab shows a full OHLCV candlestick or line chart powered by the EODHD price series. Available controls:

• Timeframe — 1D, 5D, 1M, 3M, 6M, 1Y, 5Y, MAX
• Chart type — Candlestick, Line, Area, Bar
• Indicators — 7 built-in: SMA(20), SMA(50), SMA(200), EMA(12), EMA(26), RSI(14), MACD(12,26,9)
• Drawing tools — horizontal line, trend line, rectangle, Fibonacci retracement

News

Curated article feed for this instrument, ranked by AI relevance score. See News for routing tiers and sentiment icons.

Intelligence

The knowledge graph showing relationships between this instrument's entity and other entities. See Intelligence Graph.

Filings

Recent SEC EDGAR filings: 8-K (material events), 10-K (annual report), 10-Q (quarterly report), Form 4 (insider transactions). Each filing shows a one-paragraph AI summary.

Instrument header

Every instrument page shows a persistent header bar:

• Ticker and company name
• Last price, $ change, % change (updated every 60 seconds)
• Market status — OPEN / CLOSED / PRE-MARKET / AFTER-HOURS
• Quick actions — Add to watchlist, Set alert, Open in Workspace
