Getting Started

This guide gets you from a fresh sign-up to a working Worldview workspace with a watchlist, a chart, and the AI assistant. Total time: approximately five minutes.

Before you begin

You need:

• A web browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, or Edge — all current versions)
• An email address
• (Optional) A TastyTrade brokerage account if you want to sync your positions

Sign up

   Create an account

   Visit the registration page and enter your email and password. No credit card required.

   Verify your email

   Click the verification link in your inbox. Authentication runs through Zitadel — the link expires in 24 hours.

   Land on the dashboard

   Your first sign-in lands you on /dashboard. The morning brief, watchlists, and AI panel are visible by default.

Build your first watchlist

The watchlist is the central focus list — every alert, morning brief, and notification scopes by it.

1. Click Watchlists in the left navigation rail
2. Click + New watchlist, give it a name (e.g. "Tech mega-cap")
3. Search for an instrument (try AAPL) and click Add
4. Repeat for any tickers you actively follow

Connect your brokerage (optional)

Worldview reads brokerage positions to show actual P&L alongside your research. Currently supported: TastyTrade.

Navigate to Settings → Brokerage → Connect TastyTrade. Complete the OAuth flow; your positions sync within approximately 30 seconds.

Explore the workspace

The workspace gives you a multi-panel canvas where you can pin charts, news feeds, fundamentals panels, and more side-by-side. Press G then W to jump directly to the workspace from anywhere in the app.
